We plan to release Ocotillo v1.3.0 on Wednesday, September 23rd. This work will deliver a hardened Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and public data foundation, standardized dataset definitions, API key management for programmatic data access, and a structured scope-based permissions plan. What you need to know:
OGC & GIS Tooling: Standardized layer naming and updated metadata make connecting desktop GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) smoother and more reliable. Datasets & Schemas: Standard field definitions and OGC schemas are now accessible directly within the Datasets page. API Key Management: Programmatic data access is now supported via dedicated API key generation workflows. Permissions & Governance: Formalized scope-based access control under ADR-0005.
